Privacy Policy

This policy explains how You Inspire We Build handles your personal data, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who is responsible (data controller)

The controller of your personal data is Niklas Raunio, a sole trader based in Sweden, operating as You Inspire We Build. For any privacy matter, contact support@youinspirewebuild.com.

2. What we collect

• Your email address, so we can deliver your files and contact you about your order.
• Your request content — the text you submit describing what you need, and any context you include in it.
• Order and payment metadata — what you ordered, the price, and payment status. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we do not receive or store your full card details.
• The output files produced for your order.
• Anonymous usage data — page visits and wizard interactions (which steps you reach, which file types you select). Stored as an anonymous session identifier in your browser and a one-way hashed IP address on our server. No name or email is linked to this data.
• Basic technical/log data needed to run the service securely.

3. Why we use it, and our legal basis

• To plan, produce and deliver your order, and to provide support — performance of our contract with you.
• To process payments and prevent fraud — contract and legitimate interests.
• To keep accounting records — legal obligation under Swedish bookkeeping law.

4. Who processes data on our behalf

We use a small number of trusted providers (sub-processors) to run the service:

• Anthropic — AI processing. The text of your request is sent to Anthropic's API to generate your deliverables. Anthropic does not use API data to train its models. As a US-based provider, this involves a transfer outside the EU, carried out under appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses / a Data Processing Addendum).
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Cloudflare R2 — storage of your output files (EU region).
• Hetzner — server hosting (Germany, EU).
• Resend — sending transactional emails to you.
• Google Ads — advertising measurement, so we can tell which ads lead to orders. Only loaded if you accept the cookie banner; see Section 8.

5. International transfers

Most data stays within the EU/EEA. Where a provider (such as Anthropic) is based outside the EU, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep it

• Output files: available for download for 7 days, then deleted from our storage.
• Request content: retained only as long as needed to deliver your order and handle any follow-up, then deleted.
• Accounting records (transaction details required by law): kept for 7 years, as required by Swedish bookkeeping rules.
• Your email and basic order history: kept until you ask us to delete it, subject to the accounting obligation above.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data erased (subject to legal retention duties);
• restrict or object to certain processing;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these, email support@youinspirewebuild.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish data protection authority, the Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY), or your local EU authority.

8. Cookies and local storage

For anonymous usage analytics we use sessionStorage(browser session storage, cleared when you close the tab) to hold a randomly generated session identifier. This runs regardless of the cookie banner choice below, as it is essential to operating the service and does not use cookies.

We use Google Ads to measure which ads lead to orders. Until you respond to the cookie banner shown on your first visit, Google Ads cookies and ad personalization stay off by default — Google may receive only anonymous, cookie-less signals used to estimate overall ad performance, with no data tied to you personally. If you click "Accept," full cookie-based ad measurement is switched on for your browser. Your choice is remembered (localStorage) so you are not asked again, and you can withdraw it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain.

We may update this policy from time to time; the current version is always available on this page.
